This afternoon, at the Ministry of Defence, Minister Vlado Misajlovski met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye, H.E. Fatih Ulusoj and the Defence Attaché Colonel Recai Yılmaz.
At the meeting, the interlocutors emphasized that the bilateral defence cooperation is at a high level and that there is no doubt that it will continue to develop with the same intensity.
Minister Misajlovski emphasized that Turkey is our important partner, an ally in NATO and a supporter since the independence of our country. A country that has made significant contributions to the process of modernization of the Army throughout the years.
Many members of the Army and employees of the Ministry of Defence had the opportunity to be educated and trained in Turkey, at the military college, at the military medical academy, in the NATO Center for Excellence, and to participate in a large number of joint exercises.
Misajlovski expresses his immense gratitude to Türkiye and its citizens, who immediately got involved by sending help for dealing with the fires that engulfed our country. “That’s how real friends act,” said Minister Misajlovski at today’s meeting.
