State Secretary

Chupovska Ristova was born in Veles, where she completed her primary and secondary education. In 2006, she graduated from the University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje, at the Faculty of Economics.
Chupovska Ristova started her career in 2006 in the Ministry of Finance, where she worked in the field of public internal financial control. In 2014, she was appointed Head of Department – Chief Inspector at the Ministry of Finance, with the responsibilities of inspection supervision of the management of public assets.
She has been working in the Ministry of Defence since October 2015, when she was appointed State Secretary, a position she held until June 2017. From 2017 to 2024, she continued her working career in the ministry, as a Head of the Department. In July 2024, she was once again appointed State Secretary in the Ministry of Defence.
In the course of her working career, she has participated in numerous international conferences in the field of public finance, as well as in the field of defence planning, military industry, logistics and budgeting. She also worked as a trainer in international projects in the area of budget planning and public procurement.
She actively speaks English and has a working proficiency of German.
