We share common democratic values and principles, rule of law, freedom, security and as allied countries we actively contribute to regional initiatives with the aim of strengthening regional security and stability, concluded Minister Vlado Misajlovski and the Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia, H.E. Nives Tiganj at today’s meeting at the Ministry of Defence, in the company of the Defence Attaché, Colonel Stjepan Domjančić.
Minister Misajlovski expressed his gratitude for Croatia’s continuous support for the path to our membership in the European Union, for the successful cooperation with the Croatian Embassy and for Croatia’s contribution with a team and aircraft for extinguish the fires that engulfed our country.
Ambassador Tiganj emphasizes that Croatia maintains the position that we should be part of the European family and that we have their continuous support for our European integration.
The defence cooperation between the two countries is excellent and is continuously enhancing. Cooperation in the field of military education is realized by sending members of the Macedonian Army for education, training and professional expertise in the military-educational centers in the Republic of Croatia and with the participation of experts in the field of public affairs in the trainings conducted by the Public Affairs Regional Center (PARC).
