Deputy Minister of Defence

Admir Shabani was elected and appointed Deputy Minister of Defence on 4 March 2026.

Before assuming this position, Admir Shabani worked as Head of the Department for Continuous Education, Public Relations and International Cooperation, as well as the Spokesperson of the State Election Commission.

Between 2022 and 2025, he worked at the Employment Agency as Head of the Human Resources Management and Development Department.

From 2008 to 2022, he worked at the State Election Commission (SEC), starting as a Junior Associate for the preparation and monitoring of SEC sessions, and from 2012 as Head of the Education Section. From 2016 until the day of his appointment as Deputy Minister of Defence, he also held the position of spokesperson at the State Election Commission. Since 2019, he has been managing the Department for Continuous Education, Public Relations and International Cooperation.

Previously, from 2007 to 2008, he worked as a Junior Associate in the General Secretariat of the Government, while from August 2007 to March 2008, he worked as a lawyer in the Real Estate Cadastre - Tetovo on a World Bank project for condominium ownership and real estate registration entitled "Knowing what belongs to whom". He began his career as a volunteer in the Basic Court of Tetovo, in where he stayed from 2006 to 2007.

Admir Shabani is a law graduate and author and co-author of several publications. He has excellent computer skills, advanced knowledge of AI tools, multimedia programs, digital communication, and social networks.

His native language is Albanian, he has an excellent comprehension of Macedonian, both in communication and writing, and from foreign languages he has excellent knowledge of English and the languages ​​of former Yugoslavia.

Throughout his working career, he has participated in international events and projects and has acquired a large number of international certificates and recognitions.
