At today’s meeting in the Ministry of Defence, Minister of Defence Vlado Misajlovski expressed his gratitude to the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany, H.E. Petra Drexler and the Defence Attaché Lieutenant Colonel Hans Peter Wamsler for the excellent defence cooperation, especially in the process of integration into NATO.
At the meeting, Minister Misajlovski mentioned that the budget remains at 2% of the GDP according to the conclusions.
Regarding Ukraine, Misajlovski said that the Macedonian Government will continue to help and support Ukraine.
The alliance within NATO and the contribution to NATO-led operations were part of today’s conversation, where regional stability was emphasized as one of the main factors for the further prosperity of the countries of the Western Balkans in the process of European integration. Our country has a clear position and has earned the respect of all members of the Alliance, which was recognized at all meetings held to date, including the meetings at the NATO Summit, and we will continue to be a reliable partner for cooperation, concluded the interlocutors.
