Launching of the workshop on building resilience in the Macedonian institutions

From 25 to 27 March 2025, a workshop on building resilience between institutions in the country is to be held in Skopje, co-organized by the Ministry of Defence and the U.S. Institute for Security Governance.

The aim of the workshop is to advance knowledge of advanced planning for the implementation of NATO’s core requirements for resilience and the development of conceptual and planning documents related to ensuring continuity of government, dealing with mass casualties, supporting host nation, as well as supporting inter-agency/civil-military cooperation related to resilience, crisis management and all-hazards preparedness.

On the first day of the workshop, meetings were also held with key individuals and experts on building resilience in the General Secretariat of the Government, the Ministry of Defence, the Crisis Management Center, and the Ministry of Health.

The workshop is attended by representatives from ministries and other institutions related to defence, security, health, transport, energy and communications responsible for building the resilience of society.

This workshop is a continuation of the NATO Resilience Building Workshops held during 2023 and 2024.
