On 27 and 28 March 2025, at the “Dr. Joseph Kruzel” Training Center, the first module of the “Training of Senior Leadership in the Ministry of Defence – Reasons for having Civil Servants and Potential for Their Improvement” was implemented. The training was organized by the Department for Education and Training from the Directorate for Human Resource Management, Education and Training in cooperation with experts from the Ministry of Defence of the Kingdom of Norway.
The aim of the training was to provide senior leadership in the defence with the necessary knowledge and skills to properly balance the core bureaucratic duties that are integrated into all tasks in the Ministry, in order to provide coherent, balanced and thoroughly prepared advice to the Minister.
The participants of the seminar, through the exchange of experiences and case studies, had the opportunity to get to know each other and acquire additional knowledge and skills related to the obligations of civil servants and the balance between them.
Experts from the Norwegian Ministry of Defence contributed to the training – Kjersti C. Klæbo, Director of the Department for Personnel Policy, Competence and Legal Affairs, and Fridthjof Søgaard, Director of Strategic Development.
The training was organized in accordance with the Plan for Education, Training, Professional Development and Specialization of Employees for the Needs of the Ministry of Defence and the Army for 2025.
