From 21 to 23 September, a workshop on building resilience among national institutions was held at the Army Hall, organized by the Ministry of Defence and the Institute for Security Governance from the United States of America.
Representatives from 30 state institutions that are part of the crisis and disaster management system participated in the workshop, discussing key aspects of national resilience, government continuity, and the establishment of a framework for a national exercise program through planning and development sessions for national capacities.
A special focus of the workshop was placed on advancing the readiness of institutions and society to respond in crisis conditions, as well as supporting NATO's collective defence.
This workshop, along with the workshops realized from 2023 to date, as well as the upcoming activities planned until 2027 within the framework of the SSCI (Significant Security Coordination Initiative) initiative, represents a significant part of the continuous bilateral defence cooperation with the United States of America.
