On 29 September, the seminar entitled "Delegating Authority in Decision-Making within the Ministry of Defence and the Army", organized by the Directorate for Human Resource Management, Education, and Training and in cooperation with the Center for Integrity in the Defence Sector from Norway (CIDS), was realized at the Ministry of Defence.
The seminar, whose goal is aimed at advancing efficient and responsible decision-making, included management personnel from the Ministry of Defence and the Army. The participants had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with key concepts, legal and institutional frameworks, as well as with tools for improving the decision-making process, taking responsibility, and increasing operational efficiency.
During the seminar, participants also had the opportunity to exchange experiences as well as to recognize the basic challenges and risks in delegating authority within the institution, with a special focus on the clear definition of roles, responsibilities, and limitations.
The realization of the seminar contributes to strengthening institutional capacities, responsible management, and transparent and efficient decision-making in the Ministry of Defence and the Army, and is in accordance with the 2026 Calendar of Specialized Training and the 2026Integrity Action Plan.
