On 27 and 28 May, training related to the impact of new developing technologies on international rules and the missions of security services was conducted at the Dr. Joseph Kruzel Training Center.
The two-day training provided a basic and advanced understanding of the effects and application of emerging and disruptive technologies in the contemporary security environment. The participants of the training were introduced to the challenges associated with the application, development and effects of these technologies in contemporary international relations and security services missions, as well as the risks associated with their application in defense.
The workshop led by Professors Metodi Hadzi Janev and Vesna Poposka was attended by 22 participants from the Ministry of Defense, the Army, the Ministries of Interior, Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, the Financial Police Directorate, the National Security and Intelligence Agencies, as well as the Directorate for Protection and Rescue and the Crisis Management Center.
This training is part of the continuous efforts of the Ministry of Defense to develop knowledge in this extremely important segment of defense and security.
