Development of emotional literacy in business communication of defence employees

At the "Dr. Joseph Kruzel" Defence Training Center, a specialized workshop for Ministry employees was held on 16 April, on the topic of "Emotional Literacy in Business Communication".

The goal of the workshop, implemented through lectures, presentations and interactive discussions, was to improve communication between and among employees and strengthen the organizational climate. The training covered topics related to emotional literacy, recognition of communication patterns and application of the so-called "transactional analysis". The lecturer was Tatjana Atanasovska, advisor for mental health care of employees at the Ministry of Defence.

The discussions confirmed the importance of emotional literacy for effective communication, better collaboration and improved working relationships. Emotional literacy is a key competency that contributes to greater self-awareness, better management of emotions and building trust in the work environment.

The training was organized by the Department for Education and Training within the Directorate for Human Resources Management, Education and Training, in accordance with the Plan for Education, Training, Vocational Training and Advanced Training and Specializations for this year.
