Workshop on building resilience between institutions in the Republic of North Macedonia

In the period 10-12 December 2024, the Ministry of Defense in co-organization with the American Institute for Security Management and the US Embassy in Skopje conducted a workshop on building resilience between institutions in the Republic of North Macedonia.

The purpose of the workshop, which is a continuation of the NATO workshops on building resilience, is the process of implementing NATO’s baseline resilience requirements, dealing with uncontrolled population movement and building critical infrastructure resilience.

The workshop was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Defense, the Army, the General Secretariat of the Government, the Crisis Management Center, the Ministries of Internal Affairs, Health, Transport, Energy, Mining and Mineral Resources and other state administration bodies and public enterprises on the fields of transport, energy and communications which are responsible for building the societal resilience.

Before the start of the workshop in the Ministry of Defense, meetings were held with key persons and experts on building resilience.
