Conducting the staff exercise “National Resilience”

The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of North Macedonia together with the American Institute for Security Management in coordination with the Embassy of the United States of America, conducted a workshop “National Resilience Tabletop Exercise” in the period 28 – 31 October 2024, in the premises of the Army Home.

The purpose of the workshop was to assess the preparedness and resilience of society, as well as the response in support of NATO’s collective defense. During the workshop, meetings were held with key leaders, experts and responsible entities for building resilience in the Republic of North Macedonia, where emphasis was placed on the implementation of the basic requirements for resilience, host nation support and the national crisis response system.

The workshop was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Defense, the Army, the General Secretariat of the Government, the Crisis Management Center, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Energy, Mining and Mineral Resources, other state administration bodies and public enterprises in the field of transport, energy and communications responsible for building resilience in our society.
