On the eve of the celebration of the Macedonian Army Day, the Minister of Defense held a meeting today with the National Guard of Vermont Commander, Major General Gregory Knight, who is visiting our country.
During today’s meeting, they discussed the past partnership and cooperation between the Macedonian Army and the Vermont National Guard, which has been going on for more than 30 years, and its intensification in the future.
The trainings, the joint exercise activities, the exchange of cadets between the two academies are an indication of the excellent cooperation, which is significant for the further development of the members of the Army and the Vermont National Guard, who, in addition to exchanging experiences and gaining new knowledge, build strong relationships.
As part of today’s visit, Minister Misajlovski and General Knight visited the Cyber Operations Center and the Cyber Training Platform within the Army, the purpose of which is to provide adequate cyber defense.
