The Director General of the Department of Personnel Policy, Competence and Joint Legal Services at the Ministry of Defense of Norway, Kirsti Klaboe, and the Defense Attaché, Colonel Dag-Magne Lunde, were among the guests during today’s Army Day ceremony, 18 August.
After the ceremony, State Secretary Elizabeta Chupovska Ristova held a meeting with Director Klaboe and Defense Attaché Lunde.
At their meeting, Chupovska Ristova expressed her gratitude for the overall support from allied Norway in building the Macedonian Army, through training, education, joint exercise activities, exchange of experiences in various areas, and also expressed her special gratitude for the various equipment donations for the Army.
At their meeting, they discussed the comprehensive bilateral cooperation that includes activities in various areas and the readiness to update the existing cooperation agreement, which will include elements for strategic cooperation and development.
