Siljanovska-Davkova told the peacekeepers to do their work with the professionalism and discipline they are known for and to return safe and sound.

“Be in constant contact with us and your families and rest assured that in your absence we will take care of them. Our thoughts are with you. What you are doing is truly a matter of great respect. From the bottom of my heart, I wish you the most beautiful 2025, to you, your children, your families”, said the president.

The Chief of General Staff, General Lafchiski, said that at this traditional event, the families of peacekeepers have the opportunity to see how the Army is taking care of its peacekeepers.

Representatives of the Macedonian Army who perform tasks in the NATO mission in Kosovo, KFOR, the EU-led operation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, ALTHEA, the UN-led mission in Lebanon, UNIFIL, and NATO’s multinational forces in Bulgaria and Romania also spoke via video conference.
