The Minister of Defense Vlado Misajlovski met with the Director of the Center for Security Cooperation – RACVIAC, Ambassador Konstantin – Mihail Grigorie at the Ministry of Defense today.
Minister Misajlovski underlined that our participation in this regional initiative, as well as our participation in other regional initiatives, is of particular importance for the development of mutual cooperation, defense capacities, interoperability and sharing of lessons learned and added that we remain committed to fulfilling our obligations ensuing from these initiatives.
The RACVIAC Director expressed his gratitude for the continuous contribution made by the Ministry of Defense in the realization of the tasks and obligations of RACVIAC and informed the Minister about the activities of this Center.
The Center is an effective model for regional cooperation in the field of defense which, since its establishment, has followed its primary mission – it encourages dialogue and cooperation on security issues in Southeast Europe through partnership among the countries of the region. The strengthened regional cooperation, the cooperation with NATO and the EU are more motives for further full support of the Center, its projects and future activities.
