This morning, Minister of Defense Vlado Misajlovski had a working briefing in his office with the Chief of the Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Vasko Gjurchinovski.
On the part of General Gjurchinovski, the Minister of Defence was briefed on the current situation in the areas that are important for the readiness of the Army, as well as on the current activities carried out by the Army in the country and within the framework of NATO joint operations and training activities. General Gjurchinovski also informed him about the plans and tasks of the Army to be undertaken in the upcoming period.
At the meeting they also discussed the priorities related to the Army, especially with respect to the modernization of the Army, the equipment, and the standard of the Army members, who give their utmost in protectiing the national, regional, and security of the Alliance.
