Today, at the “Ilinden” barracks in Skopje, delegations from the Ministry of Defence and the Army General Staff, led by the Minister of Defence Vlado Misajlovski and the Chief of the Army General Staff Major General Sashko Lafchiski, laid wreaths with fresh flowers in front of the memorial to the fallen members of the Special Forces Battalion.
In honour of the fallen members, Staff Sergeant Robert Petkovski, Sergeant Boban Trajkovski, Sergeant Mile Janevski and Sergeant Igor Kosteski, wreaths with fresh flowers were laid by members of the Special Forces Battalion, the commands of the Army units, former members of the Special Forces Battalion and family members of the fallen Army members.
On this day 24 years ago, near the village of Vejce, in the vicinity of Tetovo, eight members of the security forces died defending our homeland.
