As part of the visit to the USA and the 75th anniversary since the founding of the NATO Alliance, Defence Minister Vlado Misajlovski, as a member of the delegation led by Prime Minister Mickovski, met with the Undersecretary for Political Affairs of the State Department, John Bass in the course of which they confirmed the long-term strategic partnership and cooperation between the USA and Macedonia.
In the course of the day, the Macedonian delegation held meetings with the President of the Czech Republic, Petar Pavel, and the Prime Minister of Estonia, Kaja Kallas, where they discussed the intensification of mutual cooperation and support for the EU integration.
On the last day of the NATO Summit in Washington, the central topic was support for Ukraine and cooperation with partner countries from the Indo-Pacific. Macedonia remains committed to its commitment to continuous support of Ukraine.
