Today (12 February), in Brussels, on the sidelines of the scheduled meeting of defence ministers of the North Atlantic Council, Defence Minister Vlado Misajlovski took part the meeting of the Ukraine Contact Group, held for the first time under the leadership of the United Kingdom.
The meeting, chaired by UK Defence Secretary John Healy, attended by ministers and senior representatives from some 50 countries, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte and EU High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy Kaja Kallas, focused on the support for Ukraine.
Since the beginning of the aggression against Ukraine, the Macedonian Government has so far adopted 15 (fifteen) decisions on humanitarian aid, as well as military and technical assistance and support to Ukraine and the Ukrainian people as a country that is defending its independence and territorial sovereignty and continuously advocates respect for international law and the rule of law.
The stay in Brussels will continue tomorrow with a meeting of the North Atlantic Council (NAC) at the level of defence ministers and a meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Council.
