State Secretary at the Ministry of Defense Elizabeta Chupovska Ristova, together with the US Deputy Chief of Mission, Nicole Varnes, visited the Krivolak Army Training Area today.
During the visit, TA Krivolak Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Goran Kimov, briefed them on the largest Macedonian army training ground, its capacities and the opportunities it offers in terms of strengthening defense capacities.
On that occasion, the great support from the United States was highlighted, which has contributed to the vigorous development of TA Krivolak, where Macedonian members and a large number of members of other allied countries have the opportunity to develop interoperability between armies, through the performance of multiple types of training activities.
After the briefing, both delegations expressed their satisfaction with the cooperation, and at the same time expressed their readiness and desire to further increase it, including by building an even more modern and functional training ground.
The event was rounded off with a visit to the shooting range at TA Krivolak.
