State Secretary Elizabeta Chupovska-Ristova met today (25 February) at the Ministry of Defense with the Ambassador of Denmark accredited to our country, Pernille Dahler-Kardel, with whom she discussed the development of defense cooperation in the spirit of the alliance between the two countries – members of the Alliance.
“Our two countries, as members of the Alliance, share the same goals and values – peace, security and democracy. Our shared commitment to the security of every inch of NATO territory is another incentive to raise our bilateral defense cooperation to an even higher level,” said Chupovska-Ristova at the meeting.
Since the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the two countries in 2010, which is the basis of the cooperation, Denmark has supported the development of defense and the Army with sponsorships in the development of the Krivolak Army Training Area, as well as in the domain of information technology and the education of Macedonian officers at the Baltic Defense College.
