In cooperation with Norway, the second module of the "Management Personnel Academy" was implemented

On 7 May, the second module of the "Management Personnel Academy" was held at the "Dr. Joseph Kruzel" Defense Training Center in Skopje, which, among other things, included a discussion about the development of professional competencies in the public sector and the decision-making process.

The training was attended by the State Secretary at the Ministry of Defense, Elizabeta Chupovska Ristova, the State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Elena Kuzmanovska Biondic, as well as senior management officials from several institutions, which enabled a constructive exchange of experiences, different institutional perspectives and deepening of inter-institutional cooperation in the process of creating and implementing policies.

During the training, the participants discussed the role and level of professional ambition of civil servants in modern public administration, as well as the challenges associated with balancing professional obligations, responsibilities and expectations in the decision-making process. Through interactive discussions and analysis of practical cases, an exchange of experiences and insights on the advancement of leadership and professional competencies in the public sector was enabled.

The training was organized by the Education and Training Sector of the Directorate for Human Resources Management, Education and Training, in cooperation with experts from the Ministry of Defense of the Kingdom of Norway. It was implemented through an interactive approach, group work and practical exercises, during which the Norwegian experts shared experiences and good practices related to the development of a modern, professional and efficient civil service.

The "Management Personnel Academy" is part of the continuous activities aimed at developing the leadership and professional capacities of the management staff, with the aim of improving institutional efficiency, strategic management and the quality of public administration. The implementation of the training is in accordance with the Specialized Training Calendar for 2026, which is an integral part of the Education, Training, Expert Training, Advanced Training and Specialization Plan for 2026.
