Today (12 November), Minister Vlado Misajlovski met with the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, H.E. Özlem Canel in the Ministry of Defense. He wished her a successful diplomatic mission and told her that the Ministry is committed to the promotion of bilateral defense cooperation with allied Netherlands.
Misajlovski expressed his gratitude for the strong Dutch support in the process of integration into the European Union and emphasized the importance of the established allied cooperation within the framework of cooperative security, crisis management and collective defense.
At the meeting, which was also attended by the Defense Attaché, Lt. Col. Jürgen Fleischmann, the possibilities for deepening the defense cooperation were discussed, especially the possibility of using the national capacities of both countries in the field of military education, training and joint army exercises.
