Today, at the Ministry of Defence, Minister Vlado Misajlovski held a meeting with the Ambassador of Serbia, H.E. Nevena Jovanović and with the Defence Attaché, Colonel Nebojša Đorđević, who expressed satisfaction with the course of the bilateral defence cooperation.
Joint participation in regional initiatives, SEDM, the Balkan Medical Task Force, the B-9 initiative of the Chiefs of Defence, the Center for Security Cooperation – RACVIAC, are among the common interest to both countries in the direction of maintaining and strengthening regional stability and security, which holds a priority, as emphasized by both interlocutors.
At the meeting, the interlocutors also discussed the enhancement of cooperation, which currently includes education, training and professional development, as well as exchange of experiences in the area of civil-military cooperation.
Minister Misajlovski expressed his gratitude for the selfless assistance from Serbia in sending teams and aircraft for dealing with the fires, but also for the assistance and support that Serbia has been providing to us to date.
