"Today we can see a fully completed facility, as well as a facility where almost 70% of the work is complete and I expect that this facility will be fully completed next month... these are just some of the facilities that we are reconstructing", said the Minister of Defence, Vlado Misajlovski, during today's visit to the "Jane Sandanski" barracks in Shtip and the survey of the construction activities currently underway in this barracks.
Minister Misajlovski added that seventeen new projects are planned this year and that projects for the reconstruction of facilities that are important for the Army have currently been launched, and projects are already being prepared for the Army Hall, for the "Shar" Hotel on Popova Shapka, as well as for the "Ilinden" Military Hotel. Misajlovski stressed that work on designing the construction of new facilities for the needs of the Army and the Military Academy is being done in parallel.
Misajlovski emphasized that this shows the concern for the new modern infrastructure, but also, at the same time it demonstrates that investments are simultaneously being made in modernization, equipping and human capacities, and that all of this is possible because "this is not a project of the minister, this is a project of the hardworking people working in the Ministry and the Army".
