Minister of Defense, Vlado Misajlovski, together with the Chief of the General Staff of the Army, Major General Sashko Lafchiski, are leading the Macedonian delegation on a working visit to the United States of America as of today.
The occasion for the visit is the annual bilateral defense consultations between the two countries.
During his visit, Minister Misajlovsk will meet with senior officials of the Pentagon and the US Armed Forces.
The bilateral consultations of the expert teams of the Pentagon and the Ministry of Defense are aimed at deepening the allied defense cooperation between the two countries, which takes place through continuous programs to support defense reforms, the process of modernization of the Macedonian Army, joint trainings and exercises.
The USA is our strategic partner, which has supported in continuity the Macedonian defense in the development of its Army capacities since 1996.
