As part of his visit to the United States and the strategic dialogue between the two countries, Minister of Defense Vlado Misajlovski held important meetings at the U.S. Pentagon.
Minister Misajlovski met with the Assistant Secretary for International Security Affairs Daniel Zimmerman, which confirmed that the strategic partnership and bilateral cooperation in the field of defense are at an exceptionally high level. The meeting emphasized the joint determination to further deepen the cooperation, in order to strengthen regional and global security.
At the same time, the Minister expressed his gratitude for the continued support from the United States, which is crucial in the process of modernization of the Macedonian Army and the development of interoperability with NATO allies.
At the Pentagon, Minister Misajlovski also met with the Director of the US Defense Security Cooperation Agency, Mike Miller, emphasizing the importance of investing in defense capacities as a prerequisite for long-term security development.
The meeting reviewed the current and future support programs through which the United States provides financial and technical assistance to allied countries, confirming the successful cooperation to date.
The cooperation with the United States as a strategic partner continues at an accelerated pace, with a clear shared commitment to its further development.
