The Kingdom of Norway is another positive example of an allied country which has been providing assistance and professional support for the development of the defence capacities throughout the years, thus directly influencing the strengthening of peace, security and stability in the region and the Alliance, underlined Minister Vlado Misajlovski at today’s meeting in the Ministry of Defence with the ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway, Kristin Melsom.
“I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the cooperation to date and the continuous support from the Kingdom of Norway, for the numerous donations with respect to the modernization, equipping and enhancement of the capacities of the Army, but also for all the training and support for the development of the personnel and the training centers within the Ministry for Defence,” said Minister Misajlovski.
Ambassador Melsom confirmed the strong cooperation between the two allied countries and said that the Kingdom of Norway will continue to contribute to the development of defence capabilities and regional initiatives such as the Balkan Medical Task Force and the Public Affairs Regional Center.
