Defense Minister Vlado Misajlovski will participate today (4 December) in the ministerial meeting of the U.S.-Adriatic Charter, better known as the A5 group, which is being held in Tirana, Albania.
During the ministerial meeting, Minister Misajlovski will address the two working sessions dedicated to the security environment in the Western Balkans and the wider region, the open A5door policy of, as well as the future of this successful regional cooperation mechanism.
Misajlovski will have several bilateral meetings in Tirana, including a meeting with the US Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs, Celeste Wallander.
The leaders of the delegations of the A5 member countries will also sign a joint statement during the ministerial meeting.
