Today, the Minister of Defence Vlado Misajlovski visited the Goce Delchev Barracks in Skopje to inspect the construction activities for the complete reconstruction of the Security and Intelligence Directorate building within the barracks.
During today's visit, in a conversation with the employees, the Minister underlined that intensive work was being done to achieve the set goals and that the investments made in infrastructure were primarily to improve the working and living conditions for the employees in the Army and the Ministry.
Currently, active work is being done on the complete finalization of the activities planned for the reconstruction of this facility, meaning that new partition walls are being built, completely new electrical wiring and lighting are being installed, work is underway on connecting the fire protection and lightning protection systems, a new ventilation and heating system is being installed, floor coverings and doors are being replaced, and work is being carried out to finalize the restrooms, as well as finishing the drywall, painting, and facade works in order to achieve energy efficiency for the building.
