State Secretary at the Ministry of Defense, Elizabeta Chupovska – Ristova, participated in the third session of the Mixed Committee for Economic and Industrial Cooperation between the governments of the two countries today in Prague, Czech Republic, where she led the sectoral working group on cooperation in the defense industry.
During the Plenary Session of the Mixed Committee, Chupovska-Ristova emphasized that bilateral cooperation in recent years has been successfully implemented in the areas of military security, personnel management and defense standardization, where she pointed out new proposed initiatives for the future bilateral cooperation plan in order to strengthen several areas of defense.
On the sidelines of the Plenary Session, the working group held a bilateral meeting with the Director General of the Sector for Industrial Cooperation at the Ministry of Defense of the Czech Republic, Radka Konderlova. During the meeting, State Secretary Chupovska-Ristova emphasized that the Ministry of Defense and the Aviation Repair Plant “LOM-Praha” have successful defense cooperation, within the framework of the agreements concluded at the Government-to-Government level. The meeting also discussed, among other things, the promotion of cooperation in the defense industry. Both sides confirmed the successful cooperation between the two countries to date, as well as between the two Ministries, and expressed readiness for expansion in the area of defense industry.
